Sheffield United of course have already been relegated and the bottom placed club can’t even finish 19th now. One would have to wonder what the motivation for the club would be in this game however perhaps with all of the pressure thrown off we may see the Blades put in a good home performance? That is something that the fans would be craving for given that they have had to endure home form which has yielded just 2 wins and 10 points from 51, the Blades fans have also seen 51 goals fly in the net by the opposition and only 18 scored by their side at home.
Nottingham Forest are one of the clubs who could still go down this season but it would be a huge step to safety if they were to win this game. As it stands Forest are in 17th place with 26 points but things get interesting as they have appealed their 2 point penalty, if that gets reinstated they are likely to stay up. Form though has been a worry for the club with just 1 point won from their last four games. The club has had some tough fixtures and in their last game they lost 2-0 at home to Manchester City. The club's last away game also ended 2-0 this time to Everton. Overall away form has seen just two wins and only 1 point won from their last five away games.

Sheffield United: There are no new injuries for the club but many players remain out for the rest of the season and these include the following; Max Lowe, Oliver McBurnie, Rhys Norrington-Davies, John Egan, Tom Davies, Rhian Brewster, George Baldock and Chris Basham
Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi has recovered from injury and will be assessed but he does have a lack of match fitness. Nicolas Dominguez has a knock but is being tipped to be fine for this game, Neco Williams will be assessed for a slight muscle injury

It’s true that Sheffield United can play their game with no real distraction but this is a team that looks very much lost at sea and one has to wonder if manager Chris Wilder will ever get a chance to manage in the Premier League again. He’s had a tough job granted but he hasn’t been able to improve the side at all. There is the factor that they are at home and will want to give their fans something to cheer about and let’s not forget Forest have been struggling for form but we don’t see anything other than a Forest victory.
Keep an eye on the team news because for Forest it looks like influential forward Taiwo Awoniyi will be returning and he knows how to be dangerous in front of goal. He scored the opening goal in the earlier fixture too. We have also placed a replacement goalscorer in the tips section just in case he doesn’t pass the fitness test.
