Match Preview:
David Moyes stands in the way of Manchester City making history on Sunday, win this game and they would have won a 4th league title in a row. This is something which has never been achieved not just in the Premier League but in any English top flight system going back to the very first one in 1888. Manchester City would be deserved champions and they have really come into excellent form yet again just when it has mattered. The champions have mustered 26 points from their last 10 games with no defeats and have scored 31 goals in that time, Arsenal has managed 10 goals fewer. The clubs last couple of games have been away from home with a 4-0 battering of Fulham and a nervy 2-0 win over Tottenham. Now City return home and it is very difficult to see how they don’t win this game.
At home City are the only unbeaten side in the league but they have drawn five times, do this on Sunday and if Arsenal beat Everton then City have lost the title. City has won 44 points at home from a possible 54 and they have won their last three games here in a row. The clubs last two home games have both finished 5-1 after wins over Luton and Wolves and even before that they slaughtered a very good side in Aston Villa 4-1.
West Ham will part company with David Moyes after this game and he would love to win his last game in charge and also blow open the title at the same time. West Ham are in 9th place and even if they won here they can’t advance forward as they are five points behind 8th placed Manchester United. The Hammers did beat Luton 3-1 last weekend but recent form has been poor with just four points won from the last 15 on offer. Away from home Moyes’ side have won seven games but lost 9 and that includes defeats in 3 of their last four games which have come against Newcastle, Crystal Palace and in their last game they were ‘hammered’ 5-0 by Chelsea.

Manchester City : Kevin De Bruyne has an ankle injury and he will have to be assessed for this game. Ederson is out with an eye injury
West Ham: Nayef Aguerd looks to be a major doubt with his ankle and Konstantinos Mavropanos looks set to miss out once again with a knock

Manchester City are huge odds on and no one is going to be touching them to win. If West Ham are to create the shock and help Arsenal out then you can get them at 17.00 for the win and 12.00 for the draw. While City should win this game it has to be said that the Hammers prices feel a little disrespectable and the gulf does not seem that huge. We should remember that while City have a very good record over West Ham a fair few results have been close with just one goal in it. The straight win for us is off the cards then so we will look into different markets. Ultimately with a near fully fit squad and a machine like attitude to winning games City we believe will win this game and are capable of scoring 2 or 3 as well. There is just too much quality in the team and the recent win over Tottenham proved how strong their mental stability is, the title yet again looks like it is heading for the sky blue half of Manchester.
