Match Preview:
So the question is can Norwich spring a surprise and give their home fans something to cheer about in what has been a difficult season for the club? The Canaries could still finish in 19th place with a win here and hope that Watford either lose or draw but the odds do seem stacked against them.
Norwich have won just five games so far and three of those have been at home. Recent form has been poor with just one point earned from their last 15 but that was at least in their last game when they drew 1-1 away to Wolves. Norwich have conceded the most goals with 79 and that looks set to go into the 80 mark at the weekend. At home it’s three wins for Dean Smith’s side with just 12 goals scored and their last game here ended in a 4-0 loss against West Ham.
Tottenham have a fantastic chance to qualify for the Champions League. If they win or draw they will have 4th place and in turn beat Arsenal to the last spot at the same time, what an end to the season that would be for Antonio Conte’s side. Tottenham have hit form at the right time and beating Arsenal 3-0 recently felt like a watershed moment for the club. They followed that up with an edgy 1-0 win over relegation threatened Burnley while Arsenal lost another game, this time to Newcastle, and Tottenham now look good for 4th place.
On the road Spurs have lost six games but recent form has been encouraging and they are unbeaten in their last four and their last defeat on the road was 2 months ago against Manchester United. Tottenham have drawn their last two games away but their last game was against Liverpool and a draw there is like a win this season.

Norwich: Ben Gibson has a small chance to return after his back injury. Billy Gilmour is 50/50 to make this game after his ankle injury.
Tottenham: The club have no new injuries coming into this game.

Tottenham are huge odds on to win this game and the one worry for their long standing fans will be if the club go all ‘spursy’ and end up messing this result up. With all due respect to Norwich, Tottenham have been playing very well and are facing a poor side anything other than a win at this stage of the season would be very surprising.
We will look into different markets and one of those will be the goalscorers one. It’s hard to think that Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son will not have many chances to get a goal in this game and against this very leaky defence. Let’s also remember that Son could end up as top goalscorer this season and if chances happen the team will try to make Son the top goalscorer. Currently he is just 1 goal behind Mohamed Salah who may not get much game time when Liverpool take on Wolves. Of course that is of secondary importance and Tottenham’s victory will take preference. Tottenham we believe will win this game and will be playing Champions League football next season. There is really no excuse with the gulf of quality that these two sides have, but look into different markets for the best value.
