Match Preview:
Both Fulham and Tottenham are going to be having thoughts of trying to finish in the top four. That’s quite a statement on Fulham’s part but the Cottagers have been brilliant this season and they will be confident with this game being at home.
Fulham are in 7th place and now it will be all about keeping up their consistency if they want European football next season. They did lose their last game against Newcastle but have been in terrific form and have won 4 of their last five games. With victory here they would go past Tottenham also. The Cottagers are in fine form at home and have only lost twice here so far and have won their last two in a row beating both Southampton and Chelsea and by the same score line of 2-1.
Tottenham’s top four hopes are not over but they have taken quite a few blows over the past month, which has seen the club lose 3 out of their last four games. This includes losing their last two against Arsenal and Manchester City. Of course that’s against the top two sides in the country but against Arsenal the defeat was tinged with disappointment given it’s a derby game and Spurs were at home. Against Manchester City away from home Antonio Conte’s side went in at half time 2-0 up but lost 4-2 in the end. Somehow they will have to find a way to bounce back.
Tottenham find themselves 6 points from a top four spot and at least Newcastle dropped points at the weekend as they could only draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace so despite poor form it does give the club some hope of clawing back points and getting back into the mix.
Team News:
Fulham: The Cottagers are only missing Neeskens Kebano through his Achilles injury but he has been out for several weeks and he has no fixed return date.
Tottenham: Lucas Moura is set to miss out again with his tendon injury, and he is the only absentee for Conte’s side coming into this weekend.

It’s tempting to back Fulham to win this game and they will be up for it and raise their game even more. Their recent home win over Chelsea just underlines that. However Tottenham have been able to pull some impressive results out of the bag away from home and recently crushing Crystal Palace 4-0 was no mean feat. They were in complete charge against Manchester City too in the first half, so this is a team who seem to like playing away of late.
While Tottenham have only won 40% of games on the road it is their best majority result with 3 draws and 3 defeats and they have managed to pick up 7 points from their last 12 on the road. This really could go either way, but we will back the home side to get a win or draw as they have form, home advantage, and value on their side.
