Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Preview:
Crystal Palace head into this game in 18th place and are still searching for their first win of the season after six games. Last weekend they lost 2-1 away to Everton but in their last two home games they have been able to hold both Leicester and Manchester United to draws. Liverpool are top of the league even with a new manager in tow and they have 5 wins and one defeat so far. Their last game on the road finished in a 2-1 victory over Wolves and they will have the chance to increase their lead over Manchester City to four points.
Prediction: 3-0 to Liverpool
Recommended Betting Tips: Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace at 1.50, First goalscorer: Mohamed Salah at 5.00, Anytime goalscorer: Luis Diaz at 2.50
Arsenal vs Southampton Preview:
Arsenal bounced back from the recent draw over Manchester City to put four goals past Leicester at home and then in midweek they beat French champions PSG 2-0 in the Champions League. The Gunners are looking on course to be dangerous this season yet again, although Martin Odegaard misses out. Southampton find themselves in 19th place with 1 point and their last away game finished in a 3-1 loss against Bournemouth. Arsenal should cruise here but they will of course be odds on.
Prediction: 4-1 to Arsenal
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Arsenal/Arsenal at 1.50, Anytime goalscorer: Kai Havertz at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: William Saliba at 11.00, Over 3.5 goals at 1.91
Brentford have had some tricky fixtures but they haven’t won a game since August and that might be playing on manager Thomas Frank’s mind. The club have started decently for them and have 7 points and will face the team in bottom place. Perhaps losing 5 games already is not the greatest concern for Wolves that would lie in the fact that they have conceded 16 goals, almost averaging out at 3 goals per game. They have lost their last 3 in a row and the safe choice here seems to be a home win.
Prediction: 2-1 to Brentford
Recommended Betting Tips: Brentford to beat Wolves at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: Bryan Mbeumo at 2.40
Leicester vs Bournemouth Preview:
So far it’s not been the happiest of returns to the Premier League for Leicester who have not won a game yet. The Foxes come into this weekend in 17th place with just 3 points won, last weekend they lost 4-2 away to Arsenal. Bournemouth are in 11th place and back to back losses ended last week with a 3-1 south coast derby win over Southampton. Expect a close game where Leicester trying to win their first game at home will be expected to take more risks going forward.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Result: Draw at 3.75, Correct Score: 1-1 at 7.00, Both teams to score at 1.57
Manchester City vs Fulham Preview:
Last week in the league Manchester City gave up 1st position to Liverpool after drawing two games in a row, still there is only 1 point in it and plenty to play for. That winning feeling did return in midweek when they beat Slovan Bratislava 4-0. Fulham have won 50% of their games and lost just once so far and they continue to impress. Marco Silva’s side have won their last two games in a row and a surprise result here would see the Cottagers join City on the same points.
Prediction: 1-0 to Manchester City
Recommended Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals at 2.75, Anytime goalscorer: Savio at 3.00
When will this West Ham side arrive under manager Julen Lopetegui? Much was promised under him but the club have failed to win at home so far and come into this game in 14th place. The Hammers drew 1-1 away to Brentford last week. Ipswich claimed a fighting 2-2 draw at home to high fliers Aston Villa and while the club are searching for their debut win in this campaign they remain unbeaten in their last four.
Prediction: 3-1 to West Ham
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time Result: West Ham at 2.25, Anytime goalscorer: Jarrod Bowen at 2.75
Last week Everton finally won their first game of the season as they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 and moved up to 16th place. Home form will be key for the Toffees if they are to survive this season, but key defender Jarrad Branthwaite could miss this one through injury. Newcastle have started the season in solid fashion but have failed to win their last two games. However a point against Manchester City in their latest match is commendable. In other campaigns the Magpies away form has let them down and so far in this one their away win percentage is 33%.
Prediction: 2-1 to Newcastle
Recommended Betting Tips: Newcastle to beat Everton at 2.25, Both teams to score at 1.52
Aston Villa vs Manchester United Preview:
Aston Villa drew 2-2 away to Ipswich last weekend which may have felt like a step sideways with the way they have strongly started the season. However they pulled off a famous result in midweek with a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The home side have the form and the team spirit seems to be at its best coming into this clash. Erik ten Hag remains under pressure to keep his job at Manchester United. In midweek United drew 3-3 away to Porto and showed some fight. A win here could save Ten Hag’s job for now.
Prediction: 3-2 to Aston Villa
Recommended Betting Tips: Aston Villa to beat Manchester United at 2.25, Anytime goalscorer: Ollie Watkins at 2.50, A red card to be shown in the game at 5.00
Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest Preview:
Chelsea are arguably playing their best football since the Roman Abramovich days and this star studded side have really clicked under Enzo Maresca. There will still be some lingering doubts but the Blues are playing good football and getting the results and come into this game in 4th place and are right in the mix. Nottingham Forest have only lost once so far which came at home against Fulham last weekend. The club have been solid and have 9 points and let’s remember they beat Liverpool away from home already this season. Certainly they can up their game for the stronger sides. We expect to see a lot of goals in this game.
Prediction: 5-2 to Chelsea
Recommended Betting Tips: Over 4.5 goals at 4.00, Anytime goalscorer: Cole Palmer at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: Christopher Nkunku at 2.20, Anytime goalscorer: Noni Madueke at 2.75
Brighton vs Tottenham Preview:
Brighton are a difficult side to face although perhaps draws have anchored them a little this season. Last weekend the Seagulls lost their first game of the season 4-2 at Chelsea but they have beaten Manchester United here and drawn away to Arsenal and remain a danger. Tottenham seem to have shifted a few gears in the right direction and after a sluggish start have won their last two games in a row with wins over Brentford and Manchester United, they are scoring goals too and have 6 in their last two matches.
Prediction: 4-2 to Tottenham
Recommended Betting Tips: Tottenham to beat Brighton at 2.30, Over 3.5 goals at 1.91, Correct Score: Tottenham to win 3-2 or 4-2 at 15.00 and 30.00
