TABLE OF CONTENTS

After winning 8 games in a row and generally being the best in form side in the league Aston Villa were thumped 4-1 at league leaders Arsenal. All of the efforts of the past 3 months came raining down on the club who have dropped 6 points behind Arsenal. How will they bounce back and was this result simply a one off? Nottingham Forest are under some pressure in 17th place. They hold a 4 point gap to West Ham in 18th but current form is poor with 3 losses in a row. Forest have also lost 3 of their last 4 home games.

Key players out:
Aston Villa: Tyrone Mings, Pau Torres
Nottingham Forest: Ibrahim Sangare, Chris Wood, Willy Boly, Ola Aina

Prediction: 2-1 to Aston Villa

Recommended Betting Tips: Aston Villa to beat Nottingham Forest at 1.72, Aston Villa to score 2+ goals at 1.80, First goalscorer: Ollie Watkins at 5.00, Both teams to score at 1.72

Brighton vs Burnley Preview:

Brighton forced a 2-2 draw away to West Ham recently which would have felt like a small victory given that they were trailing twice in that game. The Seagulls are not in good form with just 3 points won from their last five games. They have gone their last 3 home games without a win but this should present the perfect opportunity to change that. A win for Burnley would be huge for the club who are in 19th place and six points from safety. The Clarets were beaten 3-1 by Newcastle in their latest game and have won just once away from home.

Key players out:
Brighton: Solomon March, Adam Webster
Burnley: Lyle Foster, Jordan Beyer, Josh Cullen

Prediction: 2-0 to Brighton

Recommended Betting Tips: Brighton to beat Burnley at 1.50, Anytime goalscorer: Danny Welbeck at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Kaoru Mitoma at 2.75, Correct Score: Brighton to win 2-0 or 3-0 at 7.00 and 9.50

Wolves vs West Ham Preview:

Wolves will create a new record if they fail to beat West Ham at the weekend as they are still winless after 19 games. It's been an horrific campaign for Rob Edwards side but they are a team who have become harder to beat. Just ask Manchester United after Wolves claimed a brilliant point against them. West Ham are not winning games and so their recent 2-2 home draw against Brighton would have felt like a defeat. The Hammers are in 18th with 14 points but are still 4 points shy of safety.

Key players out:
Wolves: Rodrigo Gomes, Toti, Daniel Bentley
West Ham: Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Prediction: 1-0 to Wolves

Recommended Betting Tips: Wolves to beat West Ham at 2.50, Under 2.5 goals at 1.83, Wolves to score first goal at 1.91

Bournemouth vs Arsenal Preview:

This would have looked like a real banana skin for Arsenal last season but Bournemouth have nosedived lately and only earned 5 points from their last 30 on offer. The last few days have been excellent for Arsenal. First they beat title rival Aston Villa 4-1 and then another title rival Manchester City dropped two points as they could only draw with Sunderland. It means that the Gunners head into the first week of the new year with a nice 4 point gap at the top.

Key players out:
Bournemouth: Tyler Adams, Ben Doak
Arsenal: Max Dowman, Declan Rice

Prediction: 2-0 to Arsenal

Recommended Betting Tips: Arsenal to beat Bournemouth at 1.50, Correct Score: Arsenal to win 2-0 or 3-0 at 7.50 and 12.00, Anytime goalscorer: Gabriel Jesus at 2.25, Anytime goalscorer: Leandro Trossard at 2.50

Leeds vs Man Utd Preview:

Although they have results littered with draws Leeds are going to take a 5 game unbeaten run as they cleverly try to avoid relegation. They are not out of the woods but performances like recently earning a 0-0 draw away to Liverpool are going to help their cause. Manchester United are in sixth place but dropped points again this time in stunning fashion with a draw to bottom placed Wolves. Away from home United have a 3-3-3 record from 9 games played with the majority of their points won at home.

Key players out:
Leeds: Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, Daniel James
Manchester United: Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Bryan Mbeumo, Mason Mount

Prediction: 2-2 draw

Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 3.25, Correct Score: 1-1 or 2-2 at 7.00 and 13.00, Anytime goalscorer: Casemiro at 4.50, Anytime goalscorer: Joshua Zirkzee at 3.30, Anytime goalscorer: Lukas Nmecha at 3.25

Everton vs Brentford Preview:

By beating Nottingham Forest last time out 2-0 Everton managed the double over them and their former manager Sean Dyche and it stopped 3 games in a row without a win. The Toffees continue to be solid and have 28 points and come into this game in 8th place. Home form for David Moyes side has been disappointing though with 5 games from 9 not ending in wins. Brentford would go above their hosts with a win and they have gone their last 4 matches unbeaten. However away form tells a different story with four defeats from their last 5 games.

Key players out:
Everton: Ilman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gueye, Carlos Alcaraz, Jarrad Braithwaite
Brentford: Diego Ouattara, Frank Onyeka

Prediction: 2-1 to Everton

Recommended Betting Tips: Everton to beat Brentford at 2.30, Over 2.5 goals at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Thierno Barry at 3.00, Anytime goalscorer: Dwight McNeil at 5.00

Fulham vs Liverpool Preview:

It was only a month ago that it would have been hard to have ruled Fulham out of a possible relegation battle. That has dissipated now after stong form. The Cottagers have climbed to 11th place after going 4 games unbeaten and have moved 13 points clear of the drop. Liverpool's form has improved but some question marks will remain. They only just got past the line in beating bottom club Wolves and couldn't score at home to Leeds a few days ago as that game ended 0-0. In fourth Arne Slot's side are six points behind third placed Aston Villa.

Key players out:
Fulham: Samuel Chukwueze, Calvin Bassey, Rodrigo Muniz, Joshua King
Liverpool: Alexander Isak, Mohammed Salah

Prediction: 3-2 to Liverpool

Recommended Betting Tips: Liverpool to beat Fulham at 2.00, Correct Score: Liverpool to win 2-1 or 3-2 at 8.00 and 30.00, Hugo Ekitike to score 2+ goals at 7.00, Sending off in the game at 5.00

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Preview:

It's just 1 win in four for Newcastle but they will be happy to be at home for this fixture where they have fared much better. Newcastle just haven't really got going so far this season and are in 13th place but they will keep going and are only 4 points shy of fifth. Crystal Palace are a point ahead of their hosts but haven't won in their last 4 games. Away from home the Eagles have the 5th best record but have still lost 3 times however they have almost won 50% of games this way.

Key players out:
Newcastle: Dan Burn, Jamaal Lascelles
Crystal Palace: Eddie Nkeitiah, Daniel Munoz, Chieck Doucoure

Prediction: 4-1 to Newcastle

Recommended Betting Tips: Newcastle to beat Crystal Palace at 1.70, Newcastle to score 4+ goals at 7.00, Anytime goalscorer: Anthony Gordon at 2.75, Anytime goalscorer: Nick Woltenmade at 2.05

Tottenham vs Sunderland Preview:

Tottenham's home form overall has been very poor with just 2 wins from their last 9 but the club will be expected to win this game. Despite the clubs struggles they are only four points from a top five place and have the capacity to recover. Sunderland achieved a great draw at home to 2nd placed Manchester City a few days ago. At home the Black Cats are a force to be reckoned with but on the road they have only won 30% of their total points this way and have no wins in their last four attempts.

Key players out:
Tottenham: Xavi Simons, Pape Sarr, Destiny Udogie, Dominic Solanke
Sunderland: Noah Sadiki, Habib Diarra, Bertrand Traore

Prediction: 3-1 to Tottenham

Recommended Betting Tips: Tottenham to beat Sunderland at 1.83, Tottenham to score 3+ goals at 4.33, Both teams to score at 2.00, Anytime goalscorer: Richarlison at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Mathys Tel at 3.75

Man City vs Chelsea Preview:

Manchester City enter this weekend 4 points behind league leaders Arsenal and they cannot afford to slip up. The club dropped 2 points in midweek as they drew 0-0 away to Sunderland. At home so far City have been mostly excellent with 8 wins from 9 games. The big news for Chelsea was the sacking of manager Enzo Maresca at the turn of the year. Chelsea's form has blown hot and cold for the majority of the season with just 2 points picked up from their last 9. The Blues have slipped to 5th place and came into the weekend a cool 15 points behind league leaders Arsenal. Chelsea have been fairly stable on the road however have not won any in their last three attempts.

Key players out:
Manchester City: John Stones, Savinho, Omar Marmoush, Oscar Bobb
Chelsea: Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia

Prediction: 2-0 to Man City

Recommended Betting Tips: Manchester City to beat Chelsea at 1.62, Manchester City to score 2+ goals at 1.50, Erling Haaland to score 2+ goals at 3.25, Half Time Score: 1-0 or 2-0 to Manchester City at 4.00 and 8.00
