Brighton vs Southampton Preview:
This week the Premier League kicks off on Friday evening and Brighton will be looking to win their seventh game of the season. The Seagulls are in 5th place and would go 2nd in the league with a win here, at least until Saturday. Last weekend they beat Bournemouth 2-1 and have won their last two games. Southampton are in last place and are five points from safety. Last weekend no one expected them to beat Liverpool but they gave it a go and in the end only lost 3-2. The Saints are yet to win on the road.
Prediction: 3-0 to Brighton
Recommended Betting Tips: Asian handicap (-1 Brighton) at 1.60, Correct Score: Brighton to win 2-0 or 3-0 at 8.00 and 10.00
Brentford vs Leicester Preview:
Brentford have already had a good spell and poor spell in the league but recently they have been plugging away and come into this game with just one loss in their past four. The Bees are in 11th place but could burst through into the top 8 with a win here. Leicester have recently sacked manager Steve Cooper and look set to name Ruud Van Nistelrooy as their new coach but he won’t be in charge for this game. The Foxes have gone their last four games without a win and have lost to Manchester United and Chelsea in their last two games and are just a point from the bottom three.
Prediction: 1-1
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time Result: Draw at 2.50, Under 3.5 goals at 1.57
Crystal Palace vs Newcastle Preview:
As far as how they have been playing Crystal Palace are doing better but draws mean that the Eagles have not been able to spread their wings and leave the bottom three. Oliver Glasner’s side have just one win in their last five games although last weekend got an impressive 2-2 draw away to Aston Villa. Newcastle were improving of late but would have been disappointed to have lost and been outplayed at home to West Ham last Monday. The Magpies have dropped to 10th but are just four points behind fourth position.
Prediction: 2-2
Recommended Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals at 1.80, Anytime goalscorer: Anthony Gordon at 3.75, Anytime goalscorer: Jean-Philippe Mateta at 3.25
Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich Preview:
After a strong start Nottingham Forest come into this game having lost their last two. However one of those which was last weekend was an away game against Arsenal in which Forest went down 3-0. The club are still in a great position and have 19 points. Ipswich are in 18th but have improved and are unbeaten in their last 3 games after two draws against Leicester and Manchester United and a 2-1 win over Tottenham. Just a point here could see Ipswich into safety for now.
Prediction: 3-2 to Nottingham Forest
Recommended Betting Tips: Nottingham Forest to beat Ipswich at 1.66, Over 3.5 goals at 3.00, Chris Wood to score at 2.23
Wolves vs Bournemouth Preview:
Despite a terrible start to the campaign for Wolves they are now one of the most inform sides in the league and are unbeaten in their last four games. Wolves have climbed out of the bottom three as a result and last weekend they stunned Fulham away from home with a 4-1 win. Bournemouth are in 13th and have lost their last two games, the Cherries have also lost 50% of their games away from home so far. The home side are an excellent price to win this encounter.
Prediction: 2-0 to Wolves
Recommended Betting Tips: Wolves to beat Bournemouth at 2,75, Correct Score: Wolves to win 2-0 at 15.00, Anytime goalscorer: Matheus Cunha at 2.50
It seemed as if West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui was counting down the days to his sacking but the Hammers have just beaten Newcastle 2-0 away from home and played their best game of the season and he is safe for now. Arsenal got their title bid up and running again with their first win in five games as they beat Nottingham Forest last weekend. The Gunners also demolished Sporting 5-1 away from home in the Champions League in midweek. They cannot afford to drop points in what should be a fiery London derby.
Prediction: 2-1 to Arsenal
Recommended Betting Tips: Arsenal to beat West Ham at 1.44, First goalscorer: Bukayo Saka at 5.00, Anytime goalscorer: Leandro Trossard at 3.25, A sending off in the game at 5.00
Chelsea vs Aston Villa Preview:
Chelsea are now in 3rd place with 22 points and they could go above Manchester City this weekend if everything works out their way. The Blues are unbeaten in their last four games and last weekend they beat Leicester 2-1 away from home. Aston Villa are going through poor form and have no wins in the league in six weeks. In midweek they thought they had beaten Juventus in the Champions League with a last minute goal but that was ruled out and Villa need to taste victory again as they have slipped back to 8th place.
Prediction: 3-0 to Chelsea
Recommended Betting Tips: Chelsea to beat Aston Villa at 1.70, Anytime goalscorer: Cole Palmer at 2.20, Anytime goalscorer: Enzo Fernandez at 5.50
Manchester United vs Everton Preview:
Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge of Manchester United could only end in a 1-1 draw with Ipswich and already the critics were out in force. This will be his first home game in charge and we expect a fantastic atmosphere at Old Trafford and for the players to give their all. Everton have only lost one game in their past 8 but they are drawing too many games and their last two have both finished 0-0. Even a win here would still see Everton in 15th place and progression has been quite a slog for the Toffees so far in this campaign.
Prediction: 2-0 to Manchester United
Recommended Betting Tips: Manchester United to beat Everton at 1.50, Anytime goalscorer: Rasmund Hojlund at 2.20, Correct Score: 2-0 to Manchester United at 7.00
What will Tottenham serve up next is the big question for this weekend. Not many teams can lose at home to Ipswich and then follow that up with a 4-0 win away to the champions Manchester City. That victory has put the club back into Champions League contention and they are just 3 points from that target. With 27 goals Tottenham have scored the most so far but have already lost 5 games from 12 played. Fulham were humbled 4-1 at home against Wolves last weekend but they remain a dangerous side and would go past their hosts with a win.
Prediction: 2-1 to Tottenham
Recommended Betting Tips: Tottenham to beat Fulham at 1.66, Anytime goalscorer: Dominic Solanke at 2.20, Anytime goalscorer: Brennan Johnson at 2.30, Both teams to score at 1.44
Liverpool vs Manchester City Preview:
For the past six years this has been the biggest fixture in the Premier League and all eyes will be on this match once again on Sunday. Liverpool have the chance to go 11 points clear of the champions and so this could be a game that tells us a lot about the title this season. Liverpool are in fantastic form and have won 10 of their 12 games and beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League in midweek. Manchester City have lost 5 games from their last six in all competitions and are in their worst form ever under Pep Guardiola. City have conceded 8 goals in their past three league matches and this looks like being quite an ask to get a victory away from home which they desperately need, but they have a leaky defence.
Prediction: 3-1 to Liverpool
Recommended Betting Tips: Liverpool to beat Manchester City at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Mohamed Salah at 2.20, Anytime goalscorer: Darwin Nunez at 2.75, A sending off in the game at 5.00
