Newcastle vs Manchester City Preview:
These two sides usually play out very entertaining games that are full of goals and there will be a lot of excitement around this fixture. Newcastle have started the season well although they did lose their first game last weekend against Fulham. Manchester City dropped their first points of the season against Arsenal drawing 2-2 in an epic game. The champions have lost Rodri possibly for the rest of the season and Kevin De Bruyne remains a doubt for this one too. However there is plenty of cover in midfield and they remain as strong as ever.
Prediction: 3-1 to Manchester City
Recommended Betting Tips: Manchester City to beat Newcastle at 1.62, Correct Score: 3-1 to Manchester City at 11.00, Anytime goalscorer: Savio at 4.00
Arsenal almost pulled off a fantastic win away to Manchester City last weekend, but despite being down to 10 men and defending well they conceded in the final seconds to draw 2-2. The Gunners hit back in mid week as they destroyed Bolton 5-1 in the Carabao Cup and will be up for this game. Martin Odegaard won’t return for another three weeks at least. Leicester are yet to win and are in 15th place and already 8 points behind their hosts. The Foxes have drawn their last two games in a row coming against Crystal Palace and Everton.
Prediction: 3-0 to Arsenal
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Arsenal/Arsenal at 1.57, Anytime goalscorer: Gabriel Martinelli at 2.75, Anytime goalscorer: Declan Rice at 5.00
Brentford vs West Ham Preview:
After a decent start Brentford may be in free fall and the Bees have lost 3 of their last four games. However they had difficult fixtures, having to face Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham lately. West Ham have started the season in poor form under new manager Julen Lopetegui. The Hammers are in 14th with just 4 points and they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup to a weakened Liverpool side losing 5-1. There is a lot of pressure on Lopetegui already and the fans may be turning against him.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Result: Draw at 3.25, Red card in the game at 5.00
After a questionable start to the campaign Enzo Maresca is getting the best out of his large and talented squad and Chelsea have won 3 of their last four games and risen up the table to 5th place. Goals are being scored too and with 11 they have the second best goal record currently. The Blues beat West Ham 3-0 in their last game. Brighton are one of four sides still unbeaten although they have drawn their last three games in a row. This could be a fascinating game but at home we expect Chelsea to get all three points.
Prediction: 4-2 to Chelsea
Recommended Betting Tips: Chelsea to beat Brighton at 1.70, Over 4.5 goals at 4.00, Anytime goalscorer: Christopher Nkunku at 2.50, Anytime goalscorer: Nicolas Jackson at 2.50
Everton vs Crystal Palace Preview:
Last weekend Everton finally picked up their first point of the season as they drew 1-1 away to Leicester, however they had been leading in that game. But a point was good enough to take them off the bottom of the table. Subject to paperwork the Toffees have new owners and perhaps much needed stability and that should be positive for the players going forward. Crystal Palace are in 16th place and like their hosts are yet to win but they have held Manchester United and Chelsea recently to draws.
Prediction: 2-1 to Everton
Recommended Betting Tips: Everton to beat Crystal Palace at 2.75, Both teams to score at 1.66, Anytime goalscorer: Abdoulaye Doucoure at 5.00
Nottingham Forest vs Fulham Preview:
Nottingham Forest have been one of the surprise teams who are still unbeaten and have already gone to Liverpool and beaten them. Last weekend they drew 2-2 away to Brighton and are just four points behind the league leaders. Fulham have also started well and have gone their last four games unbeaten and would go past their hosts with a win. The last five meetings here has seen Fulham win four of them. These teams look on an equal footing and we expect a close game.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time Result: Draw at 2.10, Under 2.5 goals at 1.80
Wolves are in last place having lost four games and drawn one. It would be easy to say that at this point we may know the fate of the club but they have had to face the likes of Aston Villa, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle in their defeats - all clubs expected to finish in the top six. However this weekend it doesn’t get any easier. Liverpool smashed West Ham 5-1 in midweek in the Carabao Cup and sit in 2nd place and just one point behind Manchester City. Goalkeeper Alisson may come back for this one and will be assessed. Expect the Reds to ease to victory.
Prediction: 2-0 to Liverpool
Recommended Betting Tips: Correct Score: 2-0 to Liverpool at 8.00, Anytime goalscorer: Diogo Jota at 2.25, Anytime goalscorer: Alexis MacAllister at 5.00
Ipswich vs Aston Villa Preview:
Ipswich are in 17th with 3 points and without a win so far although it is not all despair for Kieran McKenna’s side. They are unbeaten in their last three games with draws against Fulham, Brighton and Southampton, this game though even at home will be a step up and a test. Aston Villa are continuing their rich form from last season and are in 3rd place and have won their last 3 games. The Villains are scoring goals too with 8 dispatched in their past three games and will be the expected favourites to win here.
Prediction: 3-1 to Aston Villa
Recommended Betting Tips: Aston Villa to beat Ipswich at 1.91, Anytime goalscorer: Jhon Duran at 2.75, Over 2.5 goals at 1.72
Manchester United vs Tottenham Preview:
You sense that the pressure remains on Erik ten Hag even though United have gone their last 3 competitive games unbeaten. In the league they drew 0-0 away to Crystal Palace last weekend and before that beat Southampton. In midweek United could only draw 1-1 at home to Dutch club Twente in the Europa League and doubts remain. Tottenham have stumbled out of the blocks and this is a match that pits 11th against 10th. Tottenham did beat Brentford last weekend which ended back to back defeats and eased to victory over Qarabag in the Europa League.
Prediction: 1-1 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 3.75, Under 3.5 goals at 1.74
Bournemouth vs Southampton Preview:
On Monday evening we will be treated to the South Coast derby. It’s not been a great start by either side but the home side will start this as the favourites. Bournemouth are in 13th place and did start the campaign by going 3 games unbeaten however they have lost their last two in a row, although this was against Chelsea and Liverpool. Southampton are in the danger zone in 18th and have no wins. Indeed last weekend was the first time they picked up a point as they drew against Ipswich. It’s been 8 years since the Cherries last beat the Saints at home, but this could be the season to break that unwanted record.
Prediction: 2-0 to Bournemouth
Recommended Betting Tips: Bournemouth to beat Southampton at 1.66, Anytime goalscorer: Antoine Semenyo at 2.25
