Sunday's Games:

Brighton vs Manchester United Preview:

Brighton recorded a fantastic 3-0 win away to Everton on the opening day of the season and the Seagulls will be in a confident mood as they play their first game at home. There will be a warm welcome for new manager Fabian Hurzeler. Manchester United sneaked a 1-0 victory at home against Fulham and three points is three points. However Fulham ran them close and the same old problems that dogged Erik ten Hag’s side last season seemed apparent again.

Prediction: Draw 1-1

Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time: Correct Score: 0-0 or 1-1 at 3.25 and 6.00, Under 2.5 goals at 2.25

Crystal Palace vs West Ham Preview:

Crystal Palace began their Premier League campaign with a loss away to Brentford. The Eagles will be sharp eyed and focused as they prepare for their first game of the season at home. Palace have scored 9 goals against West Ham in their last two home games and that will be daunting for the away side. The Hammers also lost last weekend as they went down 2-1 at home against Aston Villa so they will be desperate to make their mark for new manager Julen Lopetegui but may come up short here.

Prediction: 2-1 to Crystal Palace

Recommended Betting Tips: Crystal Palace to beat West Ham at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Eberchi Eze at 2.60, Anytime goalscorer: Jean Mateta at 2.75

Fulham vs Leicester Preview:

Fulham could hold their heads up high last weekend even in defeat. Marco Silva’s side lost 1-0 away to Manchester United but played the better football and they should be up for this game as they seek a little justice. Leicester are back in the top flight and they looked headed for a beating against Tottenham at home last Monday evening. However the Foxes inspired by veteran Jamie Vardy came back and drew 1-1 and could have well grabbed all three points, if anything Leicester seemed full of zip and passion.

Prediction: 1-0 to Fulham

Recommended Betting Tips: Fulham to beat Leicester at 2.25, Sending off in the game at 5.00

Manchester City vs Ipswich Preview:

It’s always interesting to see how champions start in a fresh campaign but last weekend it seemed like business as usual for Manchester City who eased to an easy 2-0 victory away against Chelsea. There will be an electric atmosphere at the Etihad for their first home game of the season and Erling Haaland has already scored this season to send chills down Ipswich’s back four. Ipswich have been handed a Liverpool/Manchester City two game opener, in short a nightmare for a newly promoted side. This game will be all about defending and concentration for them.

Prediction: 3-0 to Manchester City

Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time:Manchester City/Manchester City at 1.44, First goalscorer: Erling Haaland at 3.25

Southampton vs Nottingham Forest Preview:

The Saints first game of the season was never going to be easy away to Newcastle and in the end they only lost 1-0. Indeed the club dominated the game although it should be noted that they were playing against 10 men for the majority of the time. So even with a defeat the team will be hoping to come into this game at home and carry some of their positive play into this one. Nottingham Forest are enjoying their 3rd season back in the top flight and in their first game they drew 1-1 at home to Bournemouth. Away games are another matter though and one has to wonder if the club will have ironed out their poor away form from last season?

Prediction: 2-1 to Southampton

Recommended Betting Tips: Both teams to score at 1.66, Adam Armstrong at 2.75

Tottenham vs Everton Preview:

Tottenham will be kicking themselves that they didn’t collect all three points in their opening game away to Leicester. Ange Postecoglou’s side dominated the first half with slick and attacking football and yet the same old doubts crept into their game and they let Leicester back in. So for this first home game the manager will be hoping that his side have learned quickly and they will be favourites to win this one. Everton’s worries continue and we are only into the 2nd game of the season after they lost 3-0 at home to Brighton, this game especially away from home seems a big ask for Sean Dyche’s team.

Prediction: 2-0 to Tottenham

Recommended Betting Tips: Tottenham to beat Everton 1.44, Anytime goalscorer: Dominic Solanke at 2.00

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Preview:

Many observers believe that Aston Villa put the final nail into Arsenal’s title bid last season and that the Gunners will be up for this one. This fixture could well be the most fascinating of the weekend and Villa have already beaten West Ham this season. Villa’s home form in the first half of last season was superb and the club has certainly moved up a few levels under Unai Emery. Arsenal look like they could be title contenders again and they had a straightforward win over Wolves at home last weekend. We expect sparks to fly here and the card market could well be investing in.

Prediction: 2-1 to Arsenal

Recommended Betting Tips: Arsenal to beat Aston Villa at 1.80, Anytime goalscorer: Kai Havertz at 2.75, Sending off in the game at 4.50

Bournemouth vs Newcastle Preview:

Bournemouth were heading for defeat last weekend away to Nottingham Forest but their hard work finally paid off and they came away with a vital point. Newcastle edged Southampton 1-0 at home and they are still carrying over some injuries from last season. The Magpies with their resources will be the favourites to win this game but we can all remember how poor they were on the road last season, the Cherries look like great value to bag all three points.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Recommended Betting Tips: Double chance (Bournemouth or draw) at 1.67, Anytime goalscorer: Antoine Semenyo at 2.60

Wolves vs Chelsea Preview:

Wolves lost their opening game of the season, 2-0 away to Arsenal and in fairness that was a tough start for the club who will be more looking forward to returning home. They come here though to face a very talented Chelsea squad but one who are ravaged with problems and balance within the team. Enzo Maresca’s side were poor at home to Manchester City, and the club will need some luck and will have to dig deep to get anything here. The Blues have the talent to win this game no doubt, but the pressure already feels like it is at 10 and we’re still in August!

Prediction: 1-1

Recommended Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals at 2.25, Team to score first: Wolves at 2.50

Liverpool vs Brentford Preview:

This is a new era for Liverpool under manager Arne Slot and that was evident in their first game of the season as they took their time to work out how to beat newly promoted Ipswich. The quality of the Reds shone through in the end though and they will be hot favourites to win their first game at home under Slot. Such is their odds on price we will look into different markets. Brentford kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace but we predict this will be a difficult afternoon for the Bees and Liverpool should coast to a straight forward victory.

Prediction: 4-0 to Liverpool

Recommended Betting Tips: Anytime goalscorer: Mohamed Salah at 1.72, Anytime goalscorer: Diogo Jota at 1.91
