Aston Villa vs Manchester City Preview:
The biggest difference with Aston Villa this season is consistency and that is why they come into this clash in 7th place. The club has managed to win two of their last three games but lost their latest against Nottingham Forest. The misery continues for Manchester City who have lost 8 of their last 11 competitive games. Last weekend they lost the Manchester derby after leading by a goal with only four minutes left. Everyone is waiting for the turnaround in form but the players body language does not look good and this should be a very tough fixture for the champions.
Prediction: 1-1
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 3.75, Both teams to score at 1.57
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Preview:
When you look at this fixture you may not think that it could be the best of the weekend but it does have the potential to be just that. Brentford have the best home form in the Premier League having amassed 22 points from 24 on offer. Pound for pound Nottingham Forest are the best side in the league and are in 4th place surpassing Manchester City. They have recently beaten Aston Villa and are creating minor miracles so far in this campaign.
Prediction: 3-2 to Brentford
Recommended Betting Tips: Brentford to beat Nottingham Forest at 2.20, Anytime goalscorer: Bryan Mbeumo at 3.25, Anytime goalscorer: Yoane Wissa at 3.25, Over 3.5 goals at 2.75
Ipswich vs Newcastle Preview:
Ipswich won just their second match of the season last weekend as they beat Wolves 2-1 away from home. Whilst the result keeps the club in the bottom three it also gives them hope and with 12 points they are just two from safety. Newcastle are still in touch with a European place of course but can't seem to shrug off being in mid table and 12th was never on the agenda for the club in this campaign. Despite this the Magpies did a great job in their last game destroying Leicester 4-0 and they will be hoping to find consistency and to build on that result.
Prediction: 4-1 to Newcastle
Recommended Betting Tips: Newcastle to beat Ipswich at 1.72, Alexander Isak to score 2 or more goals at 6.50
West Ham vs Brighton Preview:
After beating Wolves and drawing with Bournemouth away from home perhaps Julien Lopetegui has steaded the ship at West Ham. What the club needs to do is improve their home form and a good win here would feel like Lopeteguis worries for his job are over. Meanwhile Brighton have slipped to 9th place and have no wins in a month. The Seagulls last match ended in a 3-1 loss at home to Crystal Palace and for the Hammers this looks like being the perfect time to face Brighton.
Prediction: 2-0 to West Ham
Recommended Betting Tips: West Ham to beat Brighton at 2.75, Anytime goalscorer: Jarrod Bowen at 3 25, Correct Score: 2-0 to West Ham at 16.00
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Preview:
It's funny how football fixtures sometimes work out. These two clubs played in midweek in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup where Arsenal at home beat Palace 3-2. The Eagles will be looking for revenge and despite being in 15th place they are in good form with no losses in their last five games. Arsenal trail league leaders Liverpool by six points and have stumbled in the title race. Last weekend they could only draw 0-0 at home to Everton and they have drawn their last two games which has seen Chelsea go past them.
Prediction: 1-1
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time Result: Draw at 2.30, Highest Scoring Half: 2nd half at 2.20
Everton vs Chelsea Preview:
Everton are not losing many games recently although they will quickly want to forget about the 4-0 reverse against Manchester United a few weeks ago. Instead Sean Dyche's side will feel rightly proud to have gone away to Arsenal in their last game and get a 0-0 draw. Everton look a better side this season despite struggling for goals and yet are only 3 points from the relegation zone. Chelsea keep winning games and scoring goals. In midweek they smashed Shamrock Rovers for 5 in Europe and Enzo Maresca's side have the best form in the league. We see Chelsea being strong enough to get the 3 points.
Prediction: 2-1 to Chelsea
Recommended Betting Tips: Chelsea to beat Everton at 1.60, Anytime goalscorer: Cole Palmer at 2.20
Fulham vs Southampton Preview:
Fulham are going to be the odds on favourites here and are having a very solid season. Marco Silva's side are unbeaten in their last four games as they attempt to head up the table and into the coveted European places. Southampton have been by far the poorest side in the league and are rock bottom with just 5 points. Manager Russell Martin has been sacked and former Roma manager Ivan Juric has been appointed. This feels like a tough first game to oversee and we see only one winner.
Prediction: 2-0 to Fulham
Recommended Betting Tips: Fulham to beat Southampton at 1.44, Correct Score: 2-0 or 3-0 to Fulham at 7.50 and 11.00, Anytime goalscorer: Rodrigo Muniz at 2.20
Leicester vs Wolves Preview:
Life under Ruud Van Nistelrooy had started well with a win and a draw for the underperforming Foxes. However last weekend Leicester were slaughtered against Newcastle and suddenly the task to stay up this season is very evident indeed. The good news is that the Foxes are back at home and will be facing a poor side in Wolves. Wolves have lost their last 4 games and are shipping goals. With just 9 points earned so far the club are five points from safety. This match feels like a solid home win and one thing Leicester has as a good advantage is at home they are scoring goals.
Prediction: 3-1 to Leicester
Recommended Betting Tips: Leicester to beat Wolves at 2.50, Anytime goalscorer: Jamie Vardy at 2.30, A sending off in the game at 5.00
Manchester Utd vs Bournemouth Preview:
You wouldn't have guessed that Manchester United have just beaten Manchester City because the story this past week has been all about Marcus Rashford. Rashford is set to leave the club and has fallen out with new manager Ruben Amorim already. United really needed that derby win because so far life under Amorim hasn't been all rosy, this includes being knocked out of the Carabao Cup 4-3 by Tottenham in midweek. Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last four games including their last two away from home and are looking strong this season and can pose a threat. It would feel like a major setback though if United could not get all three points here in Amorims honeymoon period.
Prediction: 3-1 to Manchester Utd
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Manchester United/Manchester United at 1.91, First goalscorer: Rosmund Hojlund at 3.25, Anytime goalscorer: Bruno Fernandes at 2.60
Tottenham vs Liverpool Preview:
One minute they look great the next not so but one would think that Tottenham will be looking dangerous in this game. The good news is that the club stay at home where they played in midweek when they put 4 past Manchester United in beating them 4-3 in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool have been mighty this season however they have also drawn their last two games in a row and have struggled when coming here recently. We expect to see a very entertaining game with plenty of goals and incident.
Prediction: 3-3 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 4.33 over 4.5 goals at 2.75
