Brighton vs Chelsea Preview:
The Friday evening game will see this interesting clash of two sides who only met last weekend in the very same fixture. The occasion was the FA Cup and despite going a goal down Brighton came back and pulled off an unlikely 2-1 win. The Seagulls have not shown the consistency of last season but will want to quickly forget their last league game in which they were demolished 7-0 against Nottingham Forest. At home Brighton only have the 13th best record and draws have been their problem with 6 so far from 11 games played. Chelsea have lost once in their last five games but have been very average for the past two months but a win would put pressure on Forest and help them maintain a top four place.
Prediction: 2-1 to Chelsea
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw no bet (Chelsea) at 1.65, Over 2.5 goals at 1.50, Anytime goalscorer: Cole Palmer at 2.50
Leicester vs Arsenal Preview:
Losing is always disappointing but you get the feeling that Leicester will not be devastated to go out of the FA Cup last weekend at the hands of Manchester United. This season has to be about survival and as we are in February the Foxes are one of the favourites to go down. Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side come into this game in 18th but are just two points from safety from Wolves. Form has been poor with just 1 win in their last 8 games. Arsenal must win to keep pace with Liverpool who are 7 points clear. The Gunners received a blow this week as Kai Havertz will miss the rest of the season. Arsenal have won 11 points from their last 15 on offer.
Prediction: 3-0 to Arsenal
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Arsenal/Arsenal at 2.00, Correct Score 3-0 to Arsenal at 9.00, Anytime goalscorer: Raheem Sterling at 2.75, Anytime goalscorer: Leandro Trossard at 2.75
Aston Villa vs Ipswich Preview:
Aston Villa knocked out Tottenham in the FA Cup last weekend however they will need to return back to winning ways in the league. Villa have gone their last 3 games without a win and last time out were beaten 2-0 by Wolves. Ipswich are 19th and 3 points from safety and will be the underdogs to get anything here. While the club has shown some promise this season form has really dipped and they have lost their last 4 in a row. Ipswich has only managed to win 2 games away from home so far from 11 games played.
Prediction: 4-0 to Aston Villa
Recommended Betting Tips: Half Time/Full Time: Aston Villa/Aston Villa at 2.10, Ollie Watkins to score 2+ goals at 6.00
Fulham vs Nottm Forest Preview:
Fulham's end of season European hopes remain alive and the Cottagers come into this game in 9th place with 36 points. Form has been rash but it's still two wins from four games and last time out they recorded an impressive 2-1 victory away to Newcastle. Nottingham Forest continue to be the surprise team of the season and are in 3rd place with 47 points. Forest destroyed Brighton in their last league game recording an emphatic 7-0 victory. Away form is also impressive for Forest and only Liverpool have a better record with Santo's side winning seven of 12 games played.
Prediction: 2-2 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 3.50, Both teams to score at 1.50, Anytime goalscorer: Raul Jimenez at 3.00, Anytime goalscorer: Chris Wood at 3.25
Man City vs Newcastle Preview:
It's not been a good couple of weeks for Manchester City. First they were slaughtered 5-1 by Arsenal confirming their fall from grace this season. After that game they only squeezed past Leyton Orient 2-1 in the FA Cup and then after being 2-1 up against Real Madrid in the Champions League play off lost 3-2 in the first leg which was at home. This game looks like it will be another high intensity one. Both sides have the same points too as they try to hunt out a top four finish. Newcastle are in sixth place but have lost 2 of their last 3 games. On the road the Magpies have the 5th best record and more encouraging is that they have won their last 4 games in a row.
Prediction: 2-1 to Newcastle
Recommended Betting Tips: Newcastle to beat Manchester City at 3.50, Anytime goalscorer: Alexander Isak at 2.10.
Southampton vs Bournemouth Preview:
This should be a tasty derby as Southampton try to win back to back games. The Saints are bottom with just 9 points and look destined to go down. They are a huge 10 points behind 19th but in their last game were able to beat Ipswich 2-1, the question is can they build on that? Bournemouth knocked Everton out of the FA Cup last weekend beating them 2-0 away from home. The Cherries did lose to Liverpool in their last league game but have been very impressive overall and have 40 points and are eyeing a European finish.
Prediction: 3-1 to Bournemouth
Recommended Betting Tips: Bournemouth to beat Southampton at 1.50, Bournemouth to score 2+ goals at 1.44, a red card in the game at 5.00
West Ham vs Brentford Preview:
West Ham have not played terrible football under new manager Graham Potter but they are losing games and he has not made much of an impact so far. The Hammers have no wins in their last three games and have dropped a position and seen Everton go past them. Brentford are in 11th place and last time out lost at home to Tottenham and have lost two of their last three games. The Bees have one of the poorest away records in the league with just 8 points won from a possible 33.
Prediction: 2-0 to West Ham
Recommended Betting Tips: West Ham to beat Brentford at 2.50, Anytime goalscorer: Jarrod Bowen at 2.60, Correct Score: West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-0 at 13.00 and 15.00
Crystal Palace vs Everton Preview:
The turnaround at Everton since David Moyes returned as manager has been night and day and the club have won 10 points in their last four games. Not only have Everton moved up to 15th place but are now a huge 10 points clear of the bottom three. A win here would be huge but fans will still be hungover by a last gasp 2-2 draw against Liverpool in midweek. Crystal Palace have got their act together in the second half of the season and have good form with just one defeat from their last five games. The Eagles are a dangerous team who last beat Manchester United 2-0 away from home and come into this game in 12th place.
Prediction: 0-0 draw
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw at 3.25, Correct Score: 0-0 at 8.00
Liverpool vs Wolves Preview:
Such has been Liverpool's dominance this season that when the club go two games without a win in all competitions it's tempting to think that they are on a blip. In a week the Reds have been dumped out of the FA Cup by Plymouth and lost the lead to Everton to draw 2-2. With Arsenal winning on Saturday Arne Slot's side has just a four point lead at the top and so this is a huge must win game. Liverpool will be the odds on favourites with Wolves coming into this match in 17th place. Wolves have lost 4 of their last 5 games however did beat Aston Villa in their last league game.
Prediction: 3-0 to Liverpool
Recommended Betting Tips: Liverpool to score 3+ goals at 1.66, Anytime goalscorer: Luis Diaz at 2.25, Anytime goalscorer: Cody Gakpo at 2.20
Tottenham vs Man Utd Preview:
Slipping to 14th and 15th places respectively was not on these two clubs minds come February but that is the reality as we look forward to the two biggest underachievers this season locking horns. Just a couple of months ago we were treated to a seven goal thriller as Tottenham won this fixture 4-3 in the Carabao Cup. Home form is a real worry for Tottenham having lost 50% of their games here recording no wins in 3 months. Manchester United have lost two of their last 3 games. On the road Ruben Amorim's side have lost just one in their last four suggesting that the players are feeling the heat more at home and beat Fulham in their latest trip.
Prediction: 2-1 to Man Utd
Recommended Betting Tips: Draw no bet (Manchester United) at 2.10, Anytime goalscorer: Alejandro Garnacho at 3.00, Anytime goalscorer: Dominic Solanke at 2.60, First team to score: Manchester United at 2.10
