Match Preview:
Brentford are in 11th place and could aim for 10th with victory in their last game of the season. The Bees have overall had a fantastic season given that this is their first in the top flight since the 1940s. Form has been good and they come into this game having won their last two games.
The Bees have beaten Southampton and Everton in their last two games and have scored six goals. The question remains can the Bees break Leeds’ hearts and send the club down? They didn’t do Everton any favours last weekend as they found themselves 2-1 down at half time away to the Toffees and yet found that extra gear to get back in the game albeit playing against 10 men for the majority of it but still came out 3-2 winners. The worry for Leeds is that Brentford’s home form has vastly improved and they are unbeaten at home in their last four games. You would have to go back to the end of February for the clubs last defeat here which came against Newcastle.
This is it for Leeds they have to either win or draw but if they draw they would need Burnley to lose. Burnley are at home to Newcastle and the Clarets will be the favourites to stay up as we enter the final weekend of the season. Leeds goal difference could be telling but they have to give it their all and realise they come into this game with the same points (35) as Burnley. Leeds drew their last game with Brighton scoring near the end but recent form has been poor with just two points won from their last 15.
Away from home Leeds have lost 9 games and their last away game ended in a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal. However recent away form has improved and they have won 7 points from their last twelve on offer.
Team News:
Brentford: The Bees have no new injuries ahead of his game however Zanka, Ethan Pinnock and Saman Ghoddos are all out for the season.
Leeds: Daniel James and Luke Ayling are suspended for the rest of the season after their recent red cards. Patrick Bamford could make a comeback for the last game of the season but will have to be assessed for fitness issues. Stuart Dallas is out with a leg injury.

Brentford vs Leeds Prediction:
A lot of focus will be on this game and Brentford are a dangerous team to play when you need the points. Leeds have to go for it and play their best game of the season, it might not even be good enough if Burnley get the result against Newcastle. Leeds record at Brentford is not good although a fair amount of results have ended in draws.
This is a game where the fans will be relaying the latest score from the Burnley game and we can expect to see Leeds try to ramp up the play if Burnley are in trouble, the problem is that it could well go the other way and Leeds could lose heart if Burnley are doing well.
Jesse Marsch has been keeping Patrick Bamford back, as the player keeps suffering from injury and has some fitness issues, we expect that with everything on the line now Marsch will pick Bamford, could he be the teams secret weapon. Bamford will surely give it all if he does make the cut and we will be picking him to score. For a great price we will go for a famous Leeds victory but with the draw covered on the refund, they have to give everything in this game but the Bees will be very dangerous and of course this is their last home game of the season and they will want to get a final game win for the fans. Expect excitement.
